Flechtwerk’s LAYER TALKS is a new programme that invites artists, scientists, humanists, and technologists to engage in informal presentations, performances, and discussions with the broader public on topics related to the Earth’s layers and their interconnectedness with our lives. The mission is to promote dialogue regarding the understanding and awareness of the Earth’s deep subsurface through inter- and transdisciplinary formats.
The first series focuses on the accessibility and perception of the subterranean, CO2, and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), highlighting the importance of communication both above and below ground on topics related to the underground.

The Reallabor Fassfabrik can be easily reached by the Schnellbahn S2, S3 and S4. From the Atzgersdor station, it is a 3-minute walk.
